Field Information Game Locations Alta Vista Elementary School From Hwy 80 at Foresthill Rd, turn right (downhill) on Lincoln Way approximately 1.2 miles. Field is on east side of Lincoln Way, just before Oak Street. Ashford Park Located on Auburn Ravine Rd. Exit Hwy 80 at Foresthill Road, turn west toward Taco Bell, go down the hill and across the railroad track. Park is on the left at the bottom of the hill. Soccer field is at the back, beyond the pond. Auburn Elementary School Take Hwy 49 north from Hwy 80 4 miles to Kemper Rd on the left (New Airport Rd on the right). Take Kemper Rd to the end. School is straight ahead, go right then left to get into parking lot by the field. Bear River lower & upper Bear River upper is known as Bear River 1, and is a U12 field. Bear River lower is known as Bear River Metro, and is the same as Bear River High School (see below). It is the largest field, U12 thru U19. Another field known locally as Bear River 2 is a U10 field, and is not used by AYSC. All of the fields are located at Bear River High School. To reach Bear River 1, follow directions below to BRHS. Enter first lot at BRHS; walk down the pathway towards the football complex. Prior to the football field, the gate on the left leads to Bear River 1 (upper). Bear River High School Take Hwy 49 North from Auburn approximately 12 miles to Combie Rd. Turn right. At the Stop sign, continue straight on Magnolia Rd., past Lake-of-the Pines main gate. School is ahead on the left. Stay on Magnolia Rd., enter the first lot on the left past the football complex, the largest soccer field, by the baseball complex, is Bear River Metro. Bowman Elementary School Exit Hwy 80 at Bowman Road (between Foresthill Rd and Bell Rd); turn west, toward the log home models. Turn right at Bowman Rd., school is on the left. Christian Valley Park Located at Dry Creek Rd. and Christian Valley Rd. Exit Hwy 80 at Dry Creek Rd. Go to Stop sign on westbound 80 side of the bridge, turn left at "T" with Dry Creek Rd.. Park is on the right at first stop sign. Soccer field is above the parking lot. Clear Creek Elementry School 17700 McCourtney Rd, Grass Valley, CA 95949 From Auburn: Rt 49 north, turn left on Wolf Road (CR 10), turn right on Duggens Rd, left on Lime Kiln, left on McCourtney. Colfax Elementary -north & south Exit eastbound Hwy 80 at Colfax. Follow the exit around back over the freeway. At the Stop sign, turn right. Continue straight at the next Stop sign, follow the road left and down across the railroad tracks. At the Stop, turn left on Main Street, turn right one block at Church Street. Continue uphill all the way to the "T" with Tokayana Way. Turn right. School is on the left. Small field on left is "south", large field on right is "north". Colfax High School Exit eastbound Hwy 80 at Colfax. Follow the exit around back over the freeway. At the Stop sign, turn right. Continue straight at the next Stop sign, follow the road left and down across the railroad tracks. At the Stop, turn left on Main Street, turn right one block at Church Street. Continue uphill all the way to the "T" with Tokayana Way. Turn right. Continue past the Elementary School, the High School is on the left. Deer Creek Elementary map Take Hwy 49 north from Auburn to Nevada City. Exit Ridge Rd. Cross over highway, turn right on Zion Street. Turn left on Doane Rd. or left on Brock Rd. School is at 805 Lindley Ave., the next street. Fair Park Located at Auburn-Folsom Rd. and Fairgate Rd. Enter Auburn Fairgrounds by the 7-11 on Auburn-Folsom Rd. Soccer field is on the left, beyond the lighted baseball field. Foresthill Middle School- lower & upper Exit Hwy 80 at Foresthill Rd in Auburn. Turn east, travel approximately 24 miles to Foresthill. School is on the right side. Hennessy Elementary School (Grass Valley) From Auburn: Take Interstate 80 to Hwy 49 (Auburn) Grass Valley, Nevada City Exit Make a left onto Hwy 49 (North). In Grass Valley, take the downtown Grass Valley (SR-174) Exit. The School is literally at the bottom of the off ramp. Cross SR-174 and park under the freeway overpass or search for parking. Parking can be limited so be sure to give yourself enough time to find a parking spot! From North: Take Hwy 20 toward Grass Valley Take downtown Grass Valley exit. Go through 2 stop signs. School and under freeway parking will be on your left. Meadow Vista Park- Main & Mini Located at Placer Hills Rd. and Meadow Vista Rd. Exit Hwy 80 at Placer Hills Rd. (Meadow Vista exit), turn north and go up the hill into Meadow Vista. The first park complex on the left just beyond Sierra Hills School is Meadow Vista Park. Just beyond the pond is Meadow Vista Rd., turn left. Entrance into the park is on the left. The soccer field by the pond is "Meadow Vista Main", while the smaller field behind the parking lot, near the tennis courts, is "Meadow Vista Mini". Newcastle Elementary School Exit Hwy 80 at Newcastle, turn west toward old town Newcastle. Turn on first left, Kellogg St. Take second right, Valley View Dr., then third left on Cherry Lane. Ophir Elementary School Located on Lozanos Rd., below Wise Rd. Exit Hwy 80 at Hwy 193 in Newcastle, turn north on Ophir Rd and run parallel to Hwy 80 eastbound. First left is Lozanos, take it to the stop sign at the bottom of the hill (approx. 1.5 mi.), turn left on Chili Hill Rd., then immediately right again onto the uphill portion of Lozanos. School is up on the left. Placer Hills Park Located at Meadow Lane and Placer Hills Rd. in Meadow Vista. Exit Hwy 80 at Placer Hills Rd. (Meadow Vista exit), turn north and go up the hill into Meadow Vista. Go past Meadow Vista Park on the left. First left past Placer Hills Elementary School is Meadow Lane. The park is on the right. Soccer field is behind the pool. Placer Hills School- back & front Follow the directions above. School is at Placer Hills Rd. and Meadow Lane. One field is in front, another is in back. Railhead Park- A & B Located on Pacific Street in Auburn, near the Auburn Dam Overlook. From the Auburn Fairgrounds entrance by the 7-11, go uphill to the first signal light, turn left. After crossing Sacramento Street, the park is on the left. After turning into the lot, the field to the right is "Railhead A", and the field to the left is "Railhead B". Recreation Park From the Auburn Fairgrounds entrance by the 7-11 on Auburn-Folsom Rd., turn west on Race Track Street. Turn left at first Stop sign onto Recreation Dr. "Rec. Field" is the second parking lot on the left. "Begg's Field" is straight ahead. Regional Park Take Hwy 49 north from Auburn. Turn left on Dry Creek Rd., then left again on Richardson Dr. Rock Creek Elementary School- north & south On Bell Rd just west of Hwy 49, on the right. Alternative access to fields is from Education Street by Sutter Auburn-Faith Community Hospital. Secret Ravine Exit Hwy 80 at Hwy 193/Taylor Rd. Travel south through tunnel. Go past Old State Hwy (Newcastle), take next left on Kentucky Greens Way. School parking lot is beyond pond on the left. Skyridge Elementary School- lower & upper Exit Hwy 80 at Maple St (Old Town Auburn), continue up hill past the courthouse. Continue straight on Auburn-Folsom Rd approximately 2 miles to Maidu Drive (by the fire station.) Turn left on Maidu Dr. Go to first Stop sign, turn left. Make an immediate right onto Perkins Way. School entrance is at the top of the hill on the left. Alternate access is available on the other end of the school. Continue as above, but go past the school entrance, make next 2 left turns, entrance to lot is on the left. Weimar Hills School Exit Hwy 80 eastbound at Weimar Crossroads. Pass left over the freeway and continue straight. The school is on the right. Winchester Park Hwy 80 eastbound from Auburn, Exit at Placer Hills Road (Meadow Vista exit), turn left and go over the freeway and continue straight up the hill into Meadow Vista. Turn left on to Sugar Pine and continue straight into Winchester. Take the first left on Winchester Drive, then first left onto Pinnacle View and left onto Granite Park. (map)
