SUMMER SOCCER SKILLS AND TRAINING PROGRAM
ARD is offering a weekly soccer skills and training program to girls 15-19 in order to continue to help teen players improve their skills, maintain a physical training program, encourage recreational soccer play while having fun and meeting new players.
This will be a 2 hr program weekly, on Saturday mornings, 8-10 AM starting June 7 and continuing through July 26, 2008 at the Regional Park soccer field.
The focus will be on individual ball control skills, and working through progressions of one on one play to focus on individual skills and then two on two and higher groups including four on four to teach teamwork while allowing each player to be very involved with the play. There would also be occasional scrimmages for 30 minutes several times per month.
